No watering between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., unless by hand or soaker hose.
Between June 1 and September 30 of each year, lawn and landscape watering is prohibited between 10 a.m. and 6.p.m. with the exception of watering by hand or with soaker hoses.
No watering during any rain event
The use of irrigation systems or other lawn or landscape watering devices during any rain event is prohibited.
Prevent water runoff.
Do not allow substantial amounts of water to fall on impervious areas instead of a lawn or landscape, such that a constant stream overflows to the street or other drainage area.
Properly maintain sprinklers to prevent the waste of water.
All water customers are required to properly set and maintain sprinklers in a manner that prevents the waste of water. Visually inspect sprinkler heads regularly to make sure none are broken, leaking, tilted, or spraying in the wrong direction. Although watering at night is recommended, you won't notice problems with your system unless you see it in operation.
