P.A.C.T.
P.A.C.T. stands for Police Agency Combined Testing. The five participating cities: Euless, Hurst, North Richland Hills, Keller and Southlake located in the northeastern quadrant of Tarrant County, have joined forces in an attempt to recruit the highest qualified police officer applicants. This combined testing provides one test with five opportunities.

What basic requirements are needed
to take the P.A.C.T. test?
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Age: Applicants must be 21 years old at the time of
employment. A person who is 45 years of age or older may not be certified for a beginning position in the Hurst Police Department.
- Character: Good moral character, stable employment history,
valid drivers license.
- Physical Requirements: Weight in proportion to height.
Vision correctable to 20/20 and free of color blindness.
General good health and normal hearing.
- Education: Hurst - 60 college hours with at least a 2.0
GPA.

What does the P.A.C.T. test involve?
A physical assessment and written test are given. Upon successful
completion of these tests, applicants are placed on an eligibility
list for one year or until the list expires. You may be contacted
by any of the participating agencies to take the following additional
tests:
- Polygraph Exam
- Psychological Exam
- Background Check
- Complete Medical Exam
- Oral Interview
- Drug Screening.
