City Services - Trash and Recycling

My Republic Rewards logoRecycle Rewards

The City of Hurst has teamed up with Republic Services to bring citizens a new way to recycle and shop! This new recycling program will begin in September and will benefit all citizens that recycle. Citizens will need to create a free account at Myrepublicrewards.com in order to use and receive their points. Points can be used to receive special deals and discounts on anything from home products to groceries, from local and national businesses.

How are the new carts being distributed, and what should citizens do with their old recycling containers?
New carts will be delivered Aug. 8 along with instructions on how to use and place the carts. The recycle containers can either be put in the recycle cart or kept by the resident.

When does the program begin?
